Parkman Connections - 2014
Parkman Connections is planning a Plant Swap for the
Hi Plant Swap Folks!
Do you have friends who would enjoy going to the plant swap on June 7?
Perhaps they need more information before they join in on the fun. Maybe
they aren't sure about how to divide the perennial plants in their
gardens. If so, that's no longer a problem! Just give them the link below
for the Parkman Plant Swap Blog, and let them read all about the plant
swap. They'll also be able to watch some informative videos about how to
divide their plants. After watching one or two of the videos on the blog,
your friends will gain the confidence they need to dig up and divide their
plants for the plant swap! Here's the link to the Parkman Plant Swap Blog:
Before next year, I intend to add more videos about how to start plants
from seeds as well as how to take cuttings from shrubs and start new
plants from the cuttings. If you have any questions about how to do
something in the garden, please let me know. I'll do my best to find good
information for you that I can share on the Parkman Plant Swap Blog.
I've heard from a few of you about the plants you intend to bring to the
plant swap this year, and the plant list includes a big variety of plants
already! Here is a partial list of some of the plants you may see at the
plant swap this year:
dianthus (common name is cottage pinks)
hellebore (if the transplant process goes well)
See you on the first Saturday in June -
June 7 - at the Parkman Community House.
The plant swap will begin at 1:00PM,
so you might want to arrive a few minutes before 1:00.
As always, please feel free to share this email with your friends and
family. And don't forget to check out the Parkman Plant Swap Blog at
